Are they familiar with tools like MailerLite or Scrivener?
Yes. Many of our author VAs have experience with standard author tools including MailerLite, ConvertKit, BookFunnel, Canva, and WordPress. Please specify your tech stack in your requirements.
Can they read my book and check for typos?
They can perform "light proofreading" or beta reading duties, but they are not professional editors. We recommend using professional editors for deep editing, and using your VA for administrative proofing and formatting checks.
Do I need to train them on my brand voice?
Yes, your brand is unique. During onboarding, your Free Project Manager will help you share your style guides, past successful posts, and "do's and don'ts" to ensure the VA mimics your voice accurately.
What if I don't release books every month?
