During onboarding, the PM will work with you to create a strict "Knockout Matrix" (e.g., Must have 3+ years experience, Must be located in USA, Must have specific degree). The VA applies these objective rules to the resume pile, leaving the subjective interviewing to you.
Do these VAs conduct the initial phone screens?
No. Their role is focused on Administrative Screening and Data Ops. They handle the grueling visual scanning of resumes, moving candidates through the ATS stages, and sending out automated emails/scheduling links. They do not conduct live voice interviews or assess technical competency on calls.
How do you ensure data privacy for candidates?
Security is critical in HR. All our VAs undergo strict vetting and sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). We strongly recommend setting up restricted, role-based access within your ATS (e.g., Greenhouse or Workable) so the VA can view resumes but cannot export mass data lists or view sensitive compensation discussions.
